There's a newly opened restaurant situated at the ground floor Avon Bldg Capitol, Cebu City which specializes on new and traditional american cuisine with a twist of Filipino and Japanese dishes. But hey, they are not the so expensive and commercialized resto in town and I personally attest that! The Merilla's Resto is your kitchen outside your home and indeed, dine in just like how your mother did your home dish.







So what's my personal picks? I must say, when you visit this unique and clean Resto, you should try their Merilla's Ribs. In just PHP 150, you can now taste this prime cut ribs sauted delicously in a special sauce and of course with pineapple bits. In addition, you must take a bite on their Rellenong Bangus which I thought was an Embutido but yeah, it was a Bangus! Yummy! They also serve the best Lamb Steak in town.


Since this month is like Chicken Wings month and I am a chicken dish lover, now you should grab The Merilla's chicken wings dipped in a sweet yet spicy sauce.



Aside from the mentioned dishes, I also savored their Sisig and Merilla's lamb which sumptuous indeed.
And to finish the dinner, together with other Food Bloggers, we we're served with a home-made cake or what we call at home as "Refrigerator cake" made from Mango strips and Graham's biscuit finished with chocolate. Drooling!!!!!

The Merilla's Resto is open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner during Monday to Saturday at 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. They offer services like Takes Reservations, Walk-Ins Welcome, Good For Groups, Good For Kids, Take Out and Waiter Service.
