When in Cebu, we'll get a lot of choices where to stay. There are 3-5 star Hotels, Hostels, Inns, Apartments or Resorts but what really matters to us (Travelers and Tourists) is the comfort and serenity of the place. A place which we can call "Home away from Home". Those luxurious features are just add-ons to what we are really looking for in that place. Luckily, Cebu's only Garden Hotel, Montebello Villa Hotel can give everything - what we really need when in Cebu! Situated in the heart of the Queen City of the South, Montebello Villa Hotel hosted the first meeting and get together of Cebu Bloggers Society Board Of Trustees (BOT) and Executive Officers. It was a weekend worth an ink in our Diaries.
It was a gloomy afternoon when we met at the hotel lobby. Those smiles and "Hi-Hellos" of our dear Blogger friends made the afternoon cozy. We waited for our Room to be ready while we enjoyed Montebello's welcome drinks. During check-in, some afternoon sweet treats surprised our taste buds inside our Premier Poolside Room - it was an afternoon of chocolates and cookies - such delights! Beside a semi-private pool was my Room for that weekend. It is located in the second floor and gives a perfect view of the clear swimming pool and the lush garden of the Hotel. For the interiors, I love how those fruity colors compliments the fragrance and coolness of the room. The Poolside Deluxe can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children that are 11 years old and below. A third adult/child staying is subject to an extra person charge.
On Saturday night, I needed to go out to attend a work-related event thus leaving my Blogger Family feasting their first meal, a themed dinner especially prepared for Cebu Bloggers Society. Luckily, I came late Eight in the evening and was able to catch up with them while attending our first ever BOT Meeting at the Banquet. We discussed a lot of topics while we enjoyed each others company and some booze courtesy of Montebello Villa Hotel's the Glass Treat. How about an unlimited cocktails such as Mojitos or Wine while our ears feasting the live acoustic entertainment offered at the La Terraza, just near the poolside?! That's what we call Saturday Night!
On a very fine Sunday morning, we woke up happily and excited to explore some picturesque areas of the Hotel. But first, together with three CBS Bloggers, we joined the early Yoga by the Garden. It was a release! We ended up feeding ourselves into some healthy choices of buffet breakfast by the Pool. The Healthy Starters Menu was introduced to us and we couldn't help but adore those healthy drinks such as Stress Buster and Energy Buster. Yes, those names tell it all!
Siesta time was arranged to us - just normal resting in each of our rooms. Just couldn't leave my room, I love it very much - wishing my room at home definitely looks like in Montebello Villa Hotel. We were called around two in the afternoon as our Healthy options lunch was already prepared in the side pool by La Terraza. Saw some vegetables, fruits, and seafoods in the table and we were already salivating!
We checked-out happily and contented by 6 in the evening - saving some good memories and experiences we had in Montebello Villa Hotel. Generally, it was worth an escape within reach!
