Are you looking for a place to chill but just near or within the Metro? Do you just want to grab some booze with friends or with your Barkada while listening to some cool and light music? I have answers for these questions as I experienced first hand last Saturday the ever relaxing aura of My Village Guesthouse Kitchen and Bar.

My Village Guesthouse Kitchen and Bar is located inside El Dorado Subdivision (near the entrance gate beside Banilad Town Center) and offers various type of grilled dishes which include my favorite Lechon Native Manok or Lechon na Manok Bisaya! They also offer a number of menus which is well paired with their signature Cocktails or maybe some Beer. My choice for this part is the Chicken Skin Nachos! They got a lot of good stuff and drinks, so be prepared to just chill and relax!

"I'm 18 years old with 13 years of life experience." I said that in my online invite for my Blogger friends last week. I don't know but with this quote, I'm so proud of my 31 years of age. I'm happy and contented of life, career and family and friends. Family is always there and of course, friends will comfort you when you need them during ups and downs. That's why, I always treasure friends. Passing friends or "For keeps" friends. All kinds of friends. I just thank Rule65 Restaurant and Bar for hosting my 31st Birthday Dinner with my Blogger friends. We enjoyed their delectable and sumptuous Filipino Dishes which are perfect for this momentous event of my life.

When in Cebu, Tourists should not missed visiting the famous Tops in Busay. Situated at the top of the mountain of Barangay Malubog, Tops gives an amazing view of the queen city of the south - especially during evening. It's famous to everybody as it gives a romantic ambiance to lovers and of course a great venue for family and friends who want to chill away from the busy life of the metro. But one of the most asked questions "what kind of transportation do we need to get in going to the top?" Honestly, if you don't have a private car, then commuting is your best choice and for locals, we choose to get a "for hire" single motorcycle also known as "Habal-Habal." But this issue is now gone as Go To Tops gives the resolutions for everybody's concerns.

Last weekend was "Big" to all Cebuanos! It started with a Friday the 13th which was filled with excitements as we prepared for the upcoming Sinulog Festival on Saturday and Sunday. But before that, a group of Cebu Bloggers Society members were lucky to be invited to celebrate a new center for Grilled Dishes, the Third Degree Charred Bar and Grill. Situated in a booming district of North Reclamation Area in New Mandaue City, Charred Resto brings a new definition to Cebuanos' comfort foods. Who would say "No" to grilled dishes? It's everybody's fave!

The Night started with a real appetizer, Crispy Kangkong! It's a slight salty but a good kind of salty which gives our taste buds a "ready" sign for a sumptuous table fight!

Then came the Pochero, in just a price of PHP 380, it is really good for a "hot fix" during cold nights. The meat was well cooked. I just couldn't describe the taste of the soup and meat - Just perfect!

Now, prepare to save this one! A must try is Charred's Sizzling Sisig! Sisig is for everybody in different ages.

Here's one of Charred's signature dish, Braised Beef Kitting! Tender beef simmered in a tasty sauce. I can really taste the juice from the meat.

Then we tasted the great crispy pata in Cebu. It is really best paired with cocktails or beer.

And to give you some grilled favorites - seafood!!! I personally recommend  Panga, Grilled Squid and of course, Tuna Belly baby! I'm not a food expert or a cook but when it comes to grilled dishes especially to seafoods, I can definitely say "Yes" or "No" to a grilled food - this time, it's a Yes!

So, when you wish to spend a night with your family or friends, Third Degree Charred should be your venue of interest. Aside from great foods, Charred offers beverages like cocktails and beers. Charred is situated with the Al Fresco set-up at the second floor of the new building of Meerea which gives you a great view of the City. I asked Rina Lim, Business Manager, about the  name of the Resto and she answered "Charred is named after my father, Richard." I like the love and devotion!
