The partnership happens in two phases. The first introduced the “WOW BIDA” Battle Emote, a limited-time in-game item that allows players to use a Jollibee-themed emote in MLBB matches, available for redemption until May 20.

The second phase, GameJoy Combos, runs from May 20 to August 19 and is designed to sustain player engagement through a mix of physical hero card collectibles along with exclusive limited-edition in-game rewards available with every Jollibee GameJoy Combo purchase.

“With GameJoy Combos, we wanted to create a fun and rewarding experience that brings together great food, gaming and everyday moments of joy,” said Dorothy Ching, vice president of marketing at Jollibee Philippines. “This collaboration allows more people to enjoy Jollibee in a fresh and exciting way, whether they’re gaming, bonding with friends or simply treating themselves.”

With Jollibee, we wanted to create a campaign that genuinely feels local, fun, and rewarding for the community, by combining food, collectibles, and in-game experiences in a way that celebrates how Filipinos enjoy gaming together,” said Kevin Acuña, head of game publishing business development and partnership at MOONTON Games.

Running from May 20 to August 19, the nationwide campaign is made especially for MLBB players, from casual gamers to hardcore rank grinders.

Jollibee Philippines is stepping up its sustainability efforts by embedding energy- and water-efficient technologies across its store network, highlighted by a milestone in Enrile, Tuguegarao City. Here, Jollibee opened the country’s first quick-service restaurant to earn Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) O+M certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, a globally recognized standard for environmentally responsible buildings.

Jollibee Hits Sustainability Milestone with PH’s First LEED-Certified Store

LEED O+M, which stands for Operations and Maintenance, evaluates how existing buildings are run on a day-to-day basis, covering energy and water efficiency, waste management, and indoor environmental quality. This means the recognition goes beyond design, highlighting how the restaurant consistently operates with sustainability in practice.

The development positions Jollibee among the early adopters of operations-driven sustainability in the local fast-food industry, setting a benchmark for smarter, more efficient restaurant management that delivers both cost savings and long-term environmental impact.

As businesses face rising electricity costs and growing climate concerns, the company said it is moving beyond compliance by integrating sustainability into how its stores are designed, built, and operated.

“Sustainability is integrated into how we design and operate our stores as we continue to evolve and improve across the network,” said Jollibee Philippines president Ferns Yu, Jr. “We will continue to strengthen this commitment as we build more stores and support the communities we serve.”

Jollibee Hits Sustainability Milestone with PH’s First LEED-Certified Store

    A First in Philippine QSR

Opened in November 2024, the Enrile branch was designed and built with sustainability features that were subsequently validated and certified under the LEED program, which measures a building’s performance in energy use, water efficiency, and overall environmental impact. This certification marks a first for the quick-service restaurant sector in the Philippines.

The store incorporates several green technologies:

    • Rooftop solar panels: Can reduce electricity consumption by up to 30%.

    • Solar water heating systems: Utilized for kitchen operations.

    • Solar window films: Minimize indoor heat and reduce air conditioning demand.

    • High-efficiency hardware: Includes high-efficiency motors and LED lighting.

Water conservation features are also integrated into daily operations, including motion-sensor faucets, a rainwater harvesting system, and an on-site wastewater treatment facility that allows water to be reused for cleaning and maintenance.

Jollibee Hits Sustainability Milestone with PH’s First LEED-Certified Store

These initiatives are part of the Jollibee Group’s “Joy for Tomorrow” program, which promotes sustainability across food, people, and planet. The company plans to expand the use of energy- and water-efficient systems in more stores nationwide. By embedding sustainability into its core operations, Jollibee is positioning itself to address environmental challenges while supporting long-term business growth.

PRESS RELEASE - The inaugural batch of youth trainees under the Jollibee Group Foundation's (JGF),  Access, Curriculum, and Employability (ACE) Program and Youthworks PH is set to begin their on-the-job training in select stores in Cebu of Jollibee, Chowking, and Greenwich. This program is a collaboration between the Jollibee Group, and Primary Structures Educational Foundation, Inc. – School of Knowledge for Industrial Labor, Leadership, and Service (PSEFI-SKILLS), together with the Philippine Business for Education (PBEd), and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

The inaugural batch of youth trainees under JGF’s ACE Program and Youthworks PH is set to begin their on-the-job training in select stores of Jollibee, Chowking, and Greenwich in Cebu.

The inaugural batch of youth trainees under JGF’s ACE Program and Youthworks PH is set to begin their on-the-job training in select stores of Jollibee, Chowking, and Greenwich in Cebu.

The 21 “Not in Education, Employment, or Training” (NEET) youth trainees kickstarted their work-based training at Jollibee Group stores This is the second part of their training after 10 weeks of classroom training that Jollibee Group funded, including the trainees’ allowances and accommodation. Apart from that, Jollibee Group and JGF also worked with PSEFI-SKILLS in the development of the curriculum for the Quick Service Restaurant Operations (QSRO) track, which is designed to fill the gap for professionalized personnel training in the food service industry.

The QSRO is one of the two tracks under the ACE Scholarship Program; the other track focuses on agriculture, which is done in partnership with technical-vocational training institutions to provide youth from low-income families the opportunity to stay in school and eventually improve their livelihoods.

The Supervised Industry Learning (SIL), an aspect of the Youthworks PH program, will run from September to December 2024. During this phase, the trainees will work alongside experienced store managers and crew members within Jollibee Group stores and will undertake a range of tasks including customer service, food handling, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, and other operational procedures.

Launched in 2018, YouthWorks PH is a private sector initiative to increase access to quality training and employment opportunities for unemployed and out-of-school Filipino youth.
During the kick-off event last September 23, at Jollibee Parkmall in Mandaue City, Ruth Angeles, Chief Human Resources Officer for Jollibee Group Philippines emphasized the importance of SIL for the trainees.

“We are excited to welcome our trainees into the next phase of their program, where they will gain hands-on experience as skilled service crew. This part is crucial because it puts them in real-world situations and gives them the practical skills they need to handle the challenges of their job,” said Jollibee Group Chief of Human Resources Officer Ruth Angeles.

    Investing in the future

As one of JGF’s core commitments in uplifting underprivileged youth, JGF President Gisela Tiongson underscored the value of investing in the future of the youth and creating pathways for their success.

"This initiative reflects our commitment to drive social change and open up more opportunities to help the next generation succeed and reach their dreams,” said Tiongson. “At Jollibee Group and JGF, we believe that by investing in youth education, we can build a more inclusive and resilient society where more people have a chance at a better life.”

Jessa Marie Jumao-as, one of the trainees of the YouthWorks PH program, said the workforce development training program has been a “transformative gift” for her. Prior to participating in the program, she used to be part of a cleaning service group, which made her realize that she is happy with work that deals with more people.

“I am very grateful to Jollibee Group and PSEFI-SKILLS for giving me the opportunity to become one of the ACE scholars and trainees of the YouthWorks PH program of PBED and USAID. I am grateful to them because they taught me new skills to be able to work in the food and beverage sector, and to have a better future. This has been a transformative experience,” said Jumao-as.

Youth unemployment is at 11.2%, despite the high number of vacancies in different industries.

“We are elated to see the pilot batch of 21 out-of-school youth in Cebu City jumpstart this opportunity. This project is a testament to what we can achieve when we break down silos and work together. When government, businesses, educators, and communities join forces, we can empower young people, unlock their potential, and build a brighter future for all," said Executive Director of PBED Justine Raagas.

To continue improving the skills and opening more opportunities for more NEET youth trainees, Jollibee Group and JGF, together with PSEFI-SKILLS, PBEd and USAID, will continue to expand the ACE Scholarship and YouthWorks PH programs by bringing it closer to more trainees in other parts of the country.

The 21 youth trainees will be attending an intensive three-month on-the-job training that will allow them to learn competencies in Quick Service Restaurant Operations (QSRO) at select Jollibee Group stores

I think PM is the KEY! Everything can now be done via Facebook. A number of Online Sellers had been posting their merchandise on Facebook while consumers send a message for details and then purchase what they need. As easy as 1, 2, 3, we can now order our fave cravings from Jollibee Foods Corporation Restaurants such as Jollibee, Burger King, Chowking, Mang Inasal, Red Ribbon, Greenwich, among others via Facebook Chat and using Cashless Payment option like PayMaya or Credit/Debit/Prepaid Cards.

“As we implement more stringent safety measures in this 'new normal', the availability of PayMaya’s cashless payments solutions helps ensure that both our customers and frontliner workers are protected, while at the same time giving them a more joyful experience when they order their favorite food from any of our brands," said Jollibee Global Brand CMO, JFC Philippines Country Business Group and concurrent Jollibee PH Marketing Head Francis Flores.

Offering cashless payment options via the Facebook chatbot is just the next step in the partnership between PayMaya and JFC.  In 2019, this partnership also helped pave the way for the launch of digital payments through self-ordering kiosks in Jollibee, Burger King, and Chowking stores via the One by PayMaya Point-Of-Sale Device, and now has expanded its cashless payment option in 300 Jollibee stores.

Please note, this new feature is on a BETA Level so expect a delay from your areas.

QUICK STEPS ON HOW TO ORDER JOLLIBEE FOODS VIA FACEBOOK CHAT

    1. Search for your preferred JFC Restaurants on Facebook. (Jollibee, Burger King, Chowking, Mang Inasal, Red Ribbon, Greenwich)
    2. Click SEND MESSAGE
    3. Type #Order
    4. Type all your orders.
    5. Choose a cashless payment option (choose PAYMAYA or use your credit, debit, or prepaid cards)

    • For Metro Manila, The minimum order for delivery is P200 and the maximum order is P3,300.
    • For other areas, please keep updated with the rollout of this feature by following @PayMayaOfficial
    • As an added treat, customers can get up to 100% cashback when they pay using their PayMaya registered mobile number upon ordering via chatbot with a minimum spend of P500.

Soon, JFC will also be rolling out PayMaya’s Digital Invoice solution when ordering online via its various brand's delivery websites or through their respective hotlines, allowing customers to receive an invoice with a payment link via SMS or email so that they can also pay using any card or using their PayMaya account.

“Over the past months, we've seen an acceleration in the evolution of 'conversational commerce', with businesses and entrepreneurs harnessing their networks through chat apps to continue selling their products. During this time, businesses like JFC's brands need to be present where their customers are, and today most of the customers are online–so offering a wide variety of digital payment options ensures a safe and seamless ability for them to meet their business and customer needs," PayMaya President Shailesh Baidwan said.

Last weekend was the most memorable birthday celebration ever! Together with my co-Pisces Blogger friend, Etienne Chantal, we invited a number of innocent yet sweet angels from SOS Children's Village of Talamban to fete with us in an intimate yet joyful moment of our lives. With the help of Arlei Travel and Tours, the children arrived safely. As they entered inside the Jollitown of Jollibee Banilad, their smiles and excitements started to light up the room.

The event, jollibee's biggest celebration yet, was in line with the fast-food chain's 35th anniversary and included an array of exciting party games with cool prizes, interactive activities, special dance numbers and surprise guest appearances.

The event also welcomed special celebrity guest Sam Concepcion, who thrilled partygoers with his performance.

Aside from this good news - this latest addition to their menu, Jollibee Crispy Wings, our favorite food chain, Jollibee, launched its Crispy Wings Hour this whole month of October which highlights Jollibee Crispy Wings every Friday, from 3pm to 4pm. In this hour, Jollibee is giving away free samples of the Jollibee Crispy Wings to all dining customers in 120 participating stores nationwide.

This new Jollibee Crispy Wings is a deliciously fillinf treat that can surely give morning and afternoon breaks a tasty boost. Marinated in special seasoning then freid to a delicious crisp, it gives snack lovers more reasons to look forward to merienda time with barkadas. Personally, when we said Chicken, commoners always tag that to Jollibee and this Crispy Wings is indeed a must to eat when you visit any Jollibee branches.
