"Chill Out, You Deserve A Break!" There goes this overused line of Corporate slaves and employees out there. But indeed, everybody needs to chill. Take a break from a busy and hurry world and find peace while enjoying the amazing offerings of our Nature. This is what I did last weekend in the famous Diving Spot of the South, Moalboal Cebu. At Cabana Beach Club Resort's sea view, I inhaled the good vibes and exhaled the bad vibes.

Real Talk! It's very hard to look for a beach-front accommodation designed not just for the Foreign Tourists but also for the Locals. Sometimes, we ended up setting up tents or getting a sleepover to a friend's room. But if you wish to enjoy Moalboal Cebu, you should try Cabana Beach Club Resort to ease the pain of having a difficulty in looking for a comfortable yet affordable shelter.

TRANSPORTATION

Of course, I won't miss posting information about transportation from Cebu City to Moalboal. You have a lot of options going to this beautiful town. But I will be mentioning only two.

Going to Moalboal Map

First, you can ride a bus in South Bus Terminal for PHP 110-120 plus a 5 peso terminal Fee. Then you can drop at Moalboal City Hall or in Town proper and get a motorcycle service in just PHP 50 or a tricycle in a fare of PHP 80-100 going to your Resort.

Second, you can contact Cabana Resort (see details in the bottom part) and get their Private Van service in just PHP 4,000 (one way) from Cebu City straight to your Resort. Note, the Van is good for 12 persons.

ACCOMMODATION

Situated in the heart of Panagsama Beach, Cabana Beach Club Resort offers four types of Rooms depending on the number of people or your needs. There is a Family Room which is good for 4 persons. Also, a Deluxe Garden View for two single beds. They also have Suite Room good for couples who are trying to have an intimate vacation. And of course, Deluxe Seaview Room with two Single Bed rooms offering a vast view of the ocean.

Important Tip! If you just want to go diving or island hopping while in Moalboal and you wish to leave your important stuff and have a comfy sleep at night, then you should get a room in their Marina Lodge in as low as PHP 300 pesos per person. Or if you wish to roam around Moalboal or neighboring towns, you can grab a motorcycle in just PHP 500 which is good for 8 AM to 10 PM.

During our weekend stay, we had a comfortable room in Sole E' Mare Beach Resort. Not just that, our room is just a stone-throw away from Cabana Restaurant or the sea view. In addition, their rooms are very clean plus the kitchen utensils are well prepared and placed. And before I forgot, their air-cons are working (not like other Resorts in Moalboal!)

If you are a budget-traveler, then you should get the PHP 99.00 continental breakfast complete with 2 slices of toasted bread, 1 egg, butter and marmalade and a choice of Juice, Coffee or Tea. Or with same price (PHP 99), you can get the Filipino Breakfast complete with 1 cup of rice, 1 egg (cooked with your preference), choice of Longganisa or Corned Beef and a choice of Juice, Coffee or Tea.

WATER ACTIVITIES

Moalboal is widely known as the Best Diving Spot Cebu in which you can witness different kinds of sea creatures. Personally, if you are an adventure junkie then I recommend you should choose Cabana Resort for your accommodation as they will be arranging your water activities depending on what your preference is. To name a few, you can choose either Island Hopping in Pescador Island or
Turtle Watching in Talisay Point and maybe try the very famous Sardine Run just in front of Cabana Beach Club Resort.
