Everybody deserves a break! Sometimes, it applies to any relationships too. A break to free yourself in a bit to replenish one's soul or maybe rejuvenate and earn another energy for a brand new you. Some choose to trek and climb a mountain but most of the people choose to go out of town to inhale some fresh air in the province. How about if I tell you that you can rejuvenate, inhale fresh air and simply relax in a place which is just a drive away from the City? I'm talking about unwinding at Solea Mactan Cebu Resort.
Last week was indeed a long week for me. I was working during Halloween. From October 30 to November 1, I was at the office accepting calls and resolving computer issues from Business Users. Yes, indeed a hell of a week but it was okay because I know I would get an amazing weekend at Solea Mactan Cebu Resort. Not just an ordinary chill but an overnight staycation at the one and only Presidential Suite of the Resort. Who's excited about this experience?
Together with other three CBS members, we drove with Uber service from IT Park to Cordova, Lapu-Lapu City. It took us like an hour to arrive at the Resort. It was a warm welcome from the staff most especially at the front desk who did a good job. The sky was clear and bright. I thought we deserve a sunblock for that day. A day before that, we were advised to check in at 3 PM but the staff was so accommodating that we were allowed to check-in early in our Presidential Suite. This might not happen to everyone but just make sure to talk and ask the people working in the Resort for any possible arrangement.
So let's talk about this Presidential Suite! I'm excited about this part. It's a huge 160m2 suite with an overlooking view of the vast sea of Cordova, Mactan Cebu. It has two spacious bedrooms - one master bedroom in which Lyssa Amor and her bestie Lloyd Chua checked-in, while Kerr and I got the other bedroom with two separate beds which are good for sharing with family and friends and all beds, are clean and comfy. Each Bedroom got a bathroom (bathtub for master bedroom), private balcony, and separate living and sleeping areas. What's really good about Presidential Suite? They got a huge room for entertainment, kitchen and dining activity and oh, their interiors are lovely and adorable. I could not describe more but you can watch the video below for details.
Since it was late noon, we then headed to Earth Restaurant to grab some late lunch. This Resto never fails our taste buds. It was actually my second time at Earth and as usual, there's heaven on Earth. Good food with good people, what else you can ask for?
We went back in our rooms after that two-hour lunch. Yes, you can judge us but we really enjoyed each others company with drinks and food. LOL, We spent the whole afternoon playing with our cameras and shooting good stuff at the Presidential Suite. We took a lot of shots at the bedrooms and entertainment room. Then we explored the huge vicinity of Solea Resort from the infinity and other big pools to the man-made lagoon - we really enjoyed the view. Also, here's a tip. Do not bring your floatie, for just PHP 100, you can already borrow a giant floatie from the reception which is good for an hour. They got a lot of choices - you can get a sweet donut and pretzel, adorable unicorn, bouncy pegasus, colorful slipper, sweet pineapple or yummy pizza. We ended the afternoon rush with a group picture at the famous #Solea sign. We headed back to our rooms to freshen up and of course, just stay and play with our beds. But I personally love the couch while watching TV and having a social media break. It was really a good life.
