Specializing on Filipino Dishes with a Singaporean Twist, Monkey's Belly Bistro Bar opened its door to Cebuanos last June 19, 2015. This Bistro Bar is located at the ground floor of Capitol Square Building, Escario, Cebu City. When asked why Monkey's Belly? Samuel Chaw, the Owner/Manager and Chef, confirmed that it's combination of his favorite Cebu's Lechon Belly and the mother company in Singapore, Monkey's Forehead Pte Ltd. Thus, the name Monkey's Belly Bistro Bar came up.

Peanut Butter Burger
It is definitely the one and only peanut butter burger available in Cebu. " Peanut butter is a personal favourite of mine and I believed that it can be eaten with Anything. I started working with the Patty, adjusting the favour profile of it to make sure that it suits the local taste bud. It took me a week to perfect the peanut butter sauce and this is definitely worth a try."



Golden Aburi Brocolli
This is FaceCebu.Net's Favorite. It makes use of the traditional Japanese method of Salmon Aburi, which involves torching of the Salmon. It gives the Brocolli a light smokinesss, which adds flavours to a simple Bricolli. For the sauce, Monkey's Belly Bistro Bar did its own balsamic dressing, with a touch of Red Sugar.



Spring Wings
Known as "Har Cheong Gai" in Singapore, it is deep fried with prawn paste and a secret recipe, which they did not share.



S'Mores Cocktail
S'mores is actually a contraction of a phase 'Some More'. It is a traditional nighttime campfire treat popular in the US and recently the Canada, consisting of a roasted marshmallow and a layer of chocolate sandwiched between two Graham cracker. S'mores Cocktail consists of waffle, marshmallow, chocolate ice cream/syrup and Graham Cracker.
