It's a Swimwear presentation and not competition! On January 2017, JPark Island Resort and Waterpark Cebu will host a one-day event of Miss Universe 2016, the swimsuit presentation. On a big Sinulog Festival week, Mr. Arthur Lo, the hotel's corporate liaison officer, affirmed that all candidates of Miss Universe 2016 will come to Cebu for a Swimsuit presentation which includes a Fashion Show that highlights Cebu's talents and designers.

Mr Lo also added that JPark will come only as a Venue and the rest of the program specifications will come from Miss Universe Organization. In regards to security of the Hotel and the candidates, Lo confirmed that they are on the progress of coordination with Local Government Units and other Security sectors that will help in the success of the anticipated event next year.

Justin Uy, Chairman and President of JPark Island Resort and Waterpark Cebu, said Cebu would be showcased as a premiere destination.
