When in Cebu, Tourists love to visit the Southern part of the island such as Oslob for Whale Shark watching, Lambug Beach of Badian, or nice beaches in Moalboal. Sometimes, we love chasing waterfalls at Dao or Tumalog Falls and most of the time at Kawasan Falls. Or directly trip to Bantayan Island of the North. But less do we know that there are a lot of attractions in the Northwestern part of Cebu. Together with my friends and blogger buddy, Geezelle of Geemiz.com , we challenged ourselves to a 3-day road trip in Northwestern Cebu starting from Toledo City up to municipality of San Remigio. You won't believe what we discovered!

How to get to Toledo City from Cebu City?
1. From Cebu South Bus Terminal, ride a Ceres bus going to Toledo City. Fare is PHP 80 for airconditioned, while PHP 60 for non-aircon.

2. Drop by a corner going to Carmen Copper Corporation in Lutopan.
3. Get a motorcycle ride going to Biga Pit for PHP 400 round trip, PHP 200 each person. Two person can ride one motorcycle.
4. Drop at Lutopan public market (near the Church)

Going to Capilla Santa Ana Museum and Community Center
5. From Lutopan public market, ride a jeepney going to Toledo City Terminal. Fare is PHP 20.00
6. From Toledo Proper, ride a tricycle going to Capilla Santa Ana Museum and Community Center. Fare is PHP 20.00
7. Entrance to Capilla Santa Ana Museum and Community Center is PHP 100.

How to get to Municipality of Balamban from Toledo City?
1. From Capilla Santa Ana, take a tricycle going to the Toledo proper and ask the driver to drop you at the JEEP/BUS waiting station going to Balamban. Tricycle Fare is PHP 8.00
2. From waiting station, ride a Jeepney going to Balamban proper. Jeepney Fare is PHP 25

Going to Foressa Trail
3. Ride a motorycle going to Foressa Trail. Fare roundtrip is PHP 140. Important Note, Foressa Trail is open 7 AM to 4PM only.

3. From Corner of Barangay Bago, ride a motorcycle going to Buswang Lake. Roundtrip fare is PHP 100 per motor. 50 each person.

How to get to Municipality of Tabuelan from Tuburan Cebu?
1. From Tuburan Public Market, get a V-Hire or Bus going to Tabuelan. Bus is PHP 40.00 Option is to ride a motorycle going to Maravilla Beach Resort for only PHP 250 per trip.
2. From Tabuelan proper, get a motorcycle ride going to Maravilla Beach Resort. Fare is PHP 70.00

Where to Stay?
1. You can rent a tent at the beach front for only PHP 150-200 depending on the chosen resorts.
2. You can stay at Bethlehem Resort for a comfortable sleep while you can visit the beachfront anytime. There are advantages on staying at Bethlehem Resort such as free wifi, comfy bed, sumptuous dishes and free and clean water to drink and for shower. Also, swimming pool is available if you wish to get a dip - not in the beach. The disadvantages are Bethlehem Resort is 5-10 minutes walk from the beach front and you need to pay a headcap if you wish to swim at the pool.

1. From Maravilla Beach Resort, get a motorcycle ride going to Barangay Luyang. Fare is PHP 20.00
2. From Barangay Luyang, ride a jeepney going to San Remigio and drop by San Juan Nepomuceno Church. Fare is PHP 25.00

Overall, this amazing road trip is one for the books. We felt the fulfillment on the third day after we arrived in Danao City where we spent most of our afternoon siesta. More travels soon!
