Last Friday, I visited again the beautiful island of Bohol to grace and attend a special Wedding event of my good friend. But I didn't know that part of it was to try the best Resto in town! To make the story short, Bohol Bloggers Collective Founder, Ms Jo Apat-Philips and her member, Sarah Ladeza contacted Ms Mary, the owner of "10:31 by Chef M" to reserve a table for me. Then the rest is all about my sumptuous Dinner - foods, appetizers, chicken and of course, desserts!!!
The Restaurant which is situated in the Center of Tagbilaran City gives a really good ambiance - it's like 10 Dove Street in Cebu. I came early 5 pm and I was greeted with a beautiful smile of their waitress and was amazed that my table is already ready knowing that the reservation was set at 6 PM. One point for that Chef M! Okay, Let's talk about their foods!
First, I ordered their Buffalo Wings. I was really thinking of Gibbs' version of Chicken Wings but this time, 10:31 serving of Buffalo Wings is really huge. I think it's good for 2-3 persons. Not to mention the taste, I bet they are the best in Bohol. One thing I noticed, that Buffalo Wings should have been served with mayo for dipping but I didn't remember anything about it. Anyway, its Home-made spicy sauce is not really spicy which is good for some taste buds out there. But I prefer very HOT and SPICY Buffalo wings! PHP 260.00
Next on my table is their Signature Salad, 10:31 Salad! Okay, this kind of salad is really green. It's like they serve a lot of Vegies like lettuce. with a little mixes of pan-grilled prawns and ripened balls of Mango. But mind you, that mango dressing really adds taste to the Salad which I almost cleaned the plate and finished the serving. PHP 220.00
And for the main dish, I really recommend you try Chef M's Roasted Chicken in just PHP 280 only. It's already half size chicken marinated with their signature spices and slow-roasted. I'd love the idea that they didn't serve any sauces since the gravy is already poured all over the Chicken. This serving has no side dishes like rice but it has marbled potatoes and cherry tomatoes which are very helpful to those who are on diet - protein diet.
And to end my delish dinner is the very sinful Molten Chocolate Surprise! It is served in a volcano-like presentation and then molted to sweetness with the help of hot cream. Inside of the chocolate coverings is Chef M's fudgy brownie topped with Vanilla Ice Cream, nuts and marshamallows. Love this one in just PHP 380.00
