The Country's most awaited Triathlon event, The Cobra Ironman 70.3 Philippines, is finally coming to the beautiful island of Cebu, specifically happening at Lapu-Lapu City on August 4, 2013 (Sunday). It is expected to attract an estimated 2,000 participants from all over the country so with its neighboring nations and from the Asia-Pacific region. The Cobra Ironman 70.3 Philippines is a race with 1.2-mile swim, two-loop 56-mile bike and 13.1-mile two-loop run course.

So aside from this biggest event happening in Cebu, who of those Triathlete icons we're gonna see on Sunday? It is reported that Alaska Milk Corporation owner Fred Uytengsu, Fernando Zobel de Ayala, Senator Pia Cayetano, David Charlton and celebrities Matteo Guidicelli and Drew Arellano are joining the race. Also expected to join are Cobra Ironman titleholders Pete Jacobs, Cameron Brown, Mathieu O’Halloran, Bree Wee and Belinda Granger, as well as local triathlon elites Monica Torres and Arland Macasieb.
