ABS-CBN Late Night newscast Bandila aired on Monday, February 24, regarding this mysterious disease in the Ilocos Region of the Philippines, Pangasinan. This scary news which allegedly consumed the flesh of men (rot the skin and flesh) and will pierce through the bones. She said the two cases were not that of the rare necrotizing fasciitis, a serious bacterial infection that spreads rapidly and destroys the body’s soft tissue, according to the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
