Our Good Boy Karl Gabriel
Nineteen-year-old
single Karl Gabriel is someone a girl would want to bring home to his dad and
mom. He's dashing, certified gentleman, and definitely a good hunky boy.
However,
the lovely ladies who aspire for his attention and love should learn how to
break his great passion for fashion and studies first. These two, among his
other interests and hobbies, are taking too much of his time he often forgets—or
perhaps ignores—the matters of the heart.
Karl is
currently on his undergraduate studies at the University of San Carlos-South
Campus taking up Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education Major in English
and Filipino. If he's not spending laborious hours with books and projects, he
busies himself with organizations such as Junior Educators Alliance and
Communication Arts Senrio Educators. Growing up in a fervent Catholic home, it
also isn't surprising to know he's part of the Knights of Columbus.
Whenever
opportunities present themselves, he also prepares and hones his talents and
techniques in modeling, as well as boosting his confidence by joining pageants.
Recently, he was a finalist in Mr. and Ms. Ticao as well as in Mr. and Ms. JEA,
then bagged second runner-up in Mr. and Ms. Bodylicious 2011.
At such a
young age, he doesn't only know how to dream, but he also finds ways to make
every one of them come true; he attributes his guts and skills as the resources
he needs to propel himself to the top. Yet in spite of all his achievements,
Karl Gabriel remains modest, shy even. He believes he isn't the most
outstanding in the world of fashion, but he's also hoping he's getting there.
He keeps his feet grounded by believing everyone is created equal in the eyes
of God. He knows he has the looks but never uses them to take advantage of
others.
These days,
it’s very rare for us to find a nineteen-year-old guy who shows humility,
perseverance, focus, and deep love and passion for everything he does—a guy
we’d love our future daughters to end up with. The least thing we can do for Karl
Gabriel’s exceptional personality is to make him our Face of Cebu this
November.
