Last Saturday, May 12, 2012 - Together with Philippine Street Fashion writer, Rabsin Dela Cruz, I was able to attend and join this Summer's most beneficial event, Ang Summer ni Juan, A Fashion Show for A Cause at the Celebrity Grand Ballroom of Montebello Villa Hotel. The affair was the culminating or the finale of Limelight Male Model Management on their Male Modeling Workshop done in the past weeks. It staged Summer masterpieces of Cres Abines, Cebuano young fashion designer and the event's creative director.

The raised money from Ticket Sale on that Fashion Show is donated to Gualandi Volunteers Service Programme, Inc. (GVSP) – Gualandi Mission for the Deaf with the help of Save A Life Today, Incorporated (SALTI).

About Gualandi Volunteers Service Programme Inc. - Gualandi Mission for the Deaf

Gualandi Mission for the Deaf is a group of volunteers who in being fully human and fully Christian share a love-life relationship with the deaf as a friend and sister/brother. Its mission is to enable the deaf to grow and develop as independent, integrated, fully human and empowered citizens in the hearing society and in the church.

The group aims to establish a pool of volunteers who can discern, internalize, and articulate their response to God from a free decision to total personal commitment to the mission.
