Timex Philippines Cebu Office Inaugurates Total Plant Re-layout
July 25, 2022, marks the inauguration of the total plant re-layout of TMX Philippines Inc. (Timex Philippines). As part of the goals "Cebu 2024 transformation", TMX Philippines aims to be the location of choice for world-class manufacturing of Timex brand watches. The total plant re-layout has paved the way for the implementation of projects and programs slated under the Cebu 2024 transformations.

The event started in the morning with the blessings of all the new offices and production areas of TMX Cebu re-layout by Father Alberto Cabag, Jr. In the afternoon, the new Managing Director of TMX Philippines, Luciano Oliveira, started the Inauguration Ceremony proper with his welcome message, followed by the Ribbon Cutting together with Timex Guests and VIPs such as Liam Devoy, Chief Supply Chain Officer, and Roger Lim, First General Manager of Timex Philippines, to name a few.

Some of the new offices and production areas in TMX Philippines were designed to international standards that will surely help in improving the productivity of watch manufacturing and accessibility of Employees, Vendors, VIPs, Guests, etc who generally affect the success of the company as a whole. Some well-designed areas are Pull System SPK, Watch Studios, MES, Digitals, Guess Watch Studios, Components Warehouse, Plating, Fabrication, and the much-awaited area where Employees are so excited about - The Show Room!

What is TMX Philippines?
TMX Philippines (commonly known as Timex Philippines) is one of the companies under the Timex Group. It was established in Cebu, the Philippines in 1979 as the first locator of the Mactan Export Processing Zone. The Cebu factory is the main watch manufacturing arm of Timex Group. Over 80% of Timex watches sold worldwide are either made (fully or in final assembly) and/or shipped from the Cebu plant. The factory is one of the most vertically integrated watch manufacturing locations in the industry worldwide with a wide range of capabilities including dials and hands manufacturing, parts manufacturing and assembly, movement, and watch assembly.
