The Sunday Brunch will feature a buffet spread of signature Nikkei dishes in servings, from starters, and main course to dessert for the rate of Php 2,800++ per person. Domingo Por La Mañana Nikkei meaning “Sunday Mornings with Nikkei” aims to introduce DIP as a food destination in Cebu with the restaurant's unique dishes curated by Chef Daniel De La Fuente.

Some of the classic staple dishes that will be served are the Pollo a la Brasa or the most eaten dish in Peru, the icon sandwich — Pan Con Chicharron, and Beef Skewers made with beef hearts seasoned with Peruvian chilies and spices.

Contrary to 5 Cien’s International and Local spread of buffet, Domingo Por La Mañana Nikkei will be serving the very best of Nikkei through Chef Daniel Dela Fuente’s expertise.

Chef Daniel is a Peruvian chef who came to Cebu to introduce and educate the guests of Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort and the world about the richness of Nikkei cuisines through a mix of the classics as well as his own personal touch to the flavors.

DIP Nikkei is an active and vibrant restaurant embracing the very best of Nikkei cuisine offered in set menus, ala carte, and now a buffet spread. Nikkei is known for its sophisticated dining experience centered on cuisines created out of homesickness decades ago by Japanese immigrants in Peru after the industrial revolution. Part of the history was when a lot of farmers in Japan became jobless, the Peruvian government made a deal with the Japanese government to allow Japanese
people to work in coastal plantations in Peru.

Nikkei therefore is a word that is used to refer to the descendants of Japanese immigrants who left their country to live in other parts of the world; which then was used to name the culinary art of Peruvian-Japanese dishes. Curated through the lens of Japanese techniques, the signature dishes of DIP tell the story of the relationship between Peruvians and Japanese people.

The vivacious and eye-catching dishes of Nikkei are created using Peruvian ingredients prepared through a Japanese lens. The name of the restaurant is inspired by sauces and dips -- an essential part of Peruvian cuisine. DIP is located on the ground floor of the resort, near the pool and beach area. Their operating hours are from 12:00
