    SECOND DAY PART 2 : Icon Siam & Sook Siam Indoor Floating Market and Dinner at Opulence Cruise


    1. 📍 ICONSIAM Mall ( 299 Charoen Nakhon Rd, Khlong Ton Sai, Khlong San, Bangkok 10600, Thailand)
    📌 WHAT TO EXPECT? I felt like the mall was the Marina Bay of Bangkok. It features luxury brands and big-name retailers. Opened to the public on November 9, 2018, it is one of the largest shopping malls in Asia and also includes hotels and residences. The mall has 10 floors (including underground levels). One of its highlights is the Sook Siam Indoor Floating Market, which hosts food and craft vendors in a designer marketplace designed to evoke the regional Thai bazaars of the past.

    2. 📍 Quick visit to Pattaya Floating Market - It’s a great place to buy gifts and 'pasalubong' from Pattaya.


    3. 📍 Laser Buddha at Khao Chi Chan (Buddha Mountain)
    This laser-carved, gold-plated image of Buddha stands 170 meters tall and 30 meters wide. The temple is open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and admission is free. To reach the temple, visitors must travel approximately 15 km south of Pattaya by taxi or bus.

    Highlights of the  LAST DAY!


    1. 📍  The Ancient City
    Covering 800 Rai in Samut Prakan, this open-air museum showcases Thailand’s rich culture with replicas and original landmarks like castles, palaces, temples, and sculptures. Don’t miss the Rangsan Zone, where the most iconic attractions are brought together! 

    🚲 You can tour the park by bike, tram, or boat.

    👇 DIY ACTIVITIES: I had the chance to try a quick "DIY" food-making experience, where we got to prepare and feed food to the elephants. It was full of fun!


     


    👇 LUNCH BUFFET: Had a delightful lunch buffet at the Ancient City in Bangkok! 🍽️ The variety of Thai dishes was incredible, offering both traditional flavors and unique regional specialties. It was the perfect way to refuel after exploring the park’s amazing exhibits. Definitely a must-try experience if you're visiting!
