Are you tired of the same old Japanese Restaurant in the City? Are you flying in three hours but craving for Kushi Katsu? Worry no more! Ochee! is now open to Oponganons and Flyers who are starving for authentic Japanese Cuisine! Come early before your flight and dine in at Ochee! Kushi Katsu which is situated at the Second Floor of Island Central Mactan (just above Bo's Coffee), a drive away from Mactan-Cebu International Airport.

Our view from Ochee! Kushi Katsu Restaurant.

First thing first, what is Kushi Katsu? Kushikatsu or Kushi Katsu is very famous in Osaka, Japan. It is also known as kushiage for some. Kushikatasu is a dish of meat or vegetables that has been cut in mouthful portions, skewered, battered and deep fried. Kushikatsu is said to have originated from Shinsekai in Osaka. (tsunagujapan.com)

This is Kushi Katsu which includes Lotus Root, Shrimp, Pork, Onion and Chikuwa with cheese served with red wine, tartar and sweet and spicy sauce. My bet is dipping them with to these three sauces. They really taste good!

With its soft opening last February 14, 2019, Ochee! also serves the following (check below) aside from the signature dish of Kushi Katsu.

    Potato Salad at Ochee!

Mochiko Chicken at Ochee! This is the group's favorite - we consumed two bowls for this Mochiko Chicken!

    Shrimp Ahijo at Ochee!

TGI Fridays is opening their 3rd Cebu branch in Island Central Mall Mactan; marking the resto as a convenient food spot for different occasions and by passengers dining out before departure or after their arrival.

You can contact TGIFridays - Island Central Mactan at TEl. 234-0264
The new TGI Fridays branch is located on the second floor of Island Central Mall Mactan, a speedy two-minute ride from airport terminals 1 & 2. The resto’s proximity to the airport, as well as souvenir shops, marks it as a practical stop for guests that have just arrived in Cebu. TGI Fridays Mactan can also be a last-minute meal fix for passengers who are in a rush but still want to enjoy the signature dishes that TGI Fridays is known for.

A trip to a TGI Fridays branch wouldn’t be complete without trying their classic chicken fingers—hand-battered chicken tenders paired with a hefty helping of crispy seasoned fries and honey mustard dressing. Patrons also have an affinity for the outrageously tender Friday’s Country Ribs and Cajun Shrimp and Chicken Pasta. The ribs are smothered in Friday’s signature glaze which gives it a satisfyingly sweet and savory flavor. TGI Fridays also have a remarkable dessert menu. The best-selling Oreo Madness dessert is perfect for passengers in need of a sugar rush. As a special treat, TGI Fridays Mactan is celebrating the new branch with a 50% discount on any of their burgers on top of a minimum purchase of Php1,000 on food and drinks, valid until June 30, 2019.

Your favorite American diner is now easier to come by with TGI Fridays new Mactan branch. TGI Fridays Mactan is the 3rd branch in Cebu and the newest addition to a total of 26 TGI Fridays stores in the country.

To meet the demands of its growing clientele, Bo's Coffee, the country's all-Filipino specialty coffee shop, has opened latest branch in the Historic City of Cebu, Lapu-Lapu City! The proudly fully Filipino-owned coffee shop opened its 91st outlet at the Island Central Mactan (ICM) IT Complex, the newest premium lifestyle destination in Cebu, to cater to the coffee-loving drinkers in the area.

"There has been a growing demand to open more cafes so we selected ICM, which is strategically located in the heart of Mactan, to address those needs," Coochy Mamaclay, Bo's Coffee VP for Brand & Marketing, said. "We want everyone to feel the Bo's Coffee experience as they look for a nook and haven where students, friends and families can study, bond and share stories in a cozy and feel-at-home atmosphere over their favorite local brew," Mamaclay noted.

"Bo's Coffee partners - our service staff, have taken an oath - a 'panata' - to give their best to our customers. Once their orders are made, our partners don't call their attention but approach and serve them with a smile," she explained. "This is how we Filipinos take care of our guests."

The surroundings of Bo's Coffee also serve as a platform for local artistry and craft at its finest, from the chandeliers conceived by world-famous designer Kenneth Cobonpue to the furnishings such as the chairs colorfully upholstered by ANTHILL Fabric Gallery, Mamaclay pointed out. "Each coffee shop serves as a window and platform for our homegrown partners, whose quality products may be unfamiliar to some. Among them are Tsaa Laya, Bayani Brew (iced tea and beverages) and Theo and Philo (chocolates)."

As "Your Homegrown Brew", Bo's Coffee's point of pride is that all of its Coffee beans are sourced locally from highland farmers in Sagada and Benguet in the Mountain Province, Mount Kitanglad in Bukidnon, Mount Apo in Davao and Mount Matutum in Tupi, South Cotabato.

"We serve coffee-to-cup freshness using only quality coffee beans from these local and sustainable sources," the Bo's Coffee Official said.
