Trip To Sipalay From Cebu: Guide, Destinations, Expenses and Contacts

by - 8:20 PM

Summertime is starting to close. People are now preparing for the coming rainy days. But before we embrace the cold weather, our group ended Summer Season in Sipalay City last weekend. It was a hell of a trip and I mean a 9-hour bus (plus fastcraft) travel from Cebu to Negros Occidental. Famed as "The Jewel of the Sugar Island", Sipalay City is now gaining good reviews from Tourists and Locals with their beautiful islets and Beaches. This seaside City has a lot to offer such as Cliff Diving, Kayaking, Islets hopping and don't forget to taste their delectable foods.

So, where to go when in Sipalay and How? Here's a quick guide if you are coming from the Queen City of The South, Cebu City.

PERTH PARADISE RESORT (SIPALAY TOWER)

Honestly, Perth Paradise Resort is a just a normal mountain resort with a pricy room rates and no breakfast included. But plus points to the Locals who are working in the Resort - very accommodating personnel. So basically, in Perth, you are paying a lot of money for the aerial view of the famous Sipalay Islets and I think it is really worth the peso. To witness a Sunset while dipping in a clean swimming pool and having a booze with your friends is definitely the exact definition of Chill.

SUGAR BEACH

Yes, Sipalay has a lot to offer! Famous of its sugary-powdered sand, Sugar Beach is one of the pride of Sipalay. It has two Caves which Tourists can visit, take photos and a quick dip. I could say this is the best white sand beach of the City but please do not compare this to Philippines' famous white sand beaches as Sugar Beach is unique from the others.

GOING TO SUGAR BEACH FROM PERTH:
PHP 100 : Take a tricycle from Perth to Barangay Nawhang.

    1. ngay, just prepare 3-4K and suggest not to stay in Perth as the rooms are expensive as 2.5K per night. So, you can go there in Perth Paradise and just get the cottage worth PHP 500, plus 80 entrance and 100 for pool use. ^_^
