Summer Ender : Hiking At Bocaue Peak, Cebu City!

by - 8:12 PM

Nah! There's no ending for Summer season - I just love this time of the year! (Of course, next to Christmas and New Year!) But it's not good to have a hot season all throughout the year. So, I decided to name that last "Hurrah" as our Summer Ender activity. Because the struggles going to the top of Bocaue Peak are definitely real for non-hikers like me, so when we made it to the top of the mountain, we did our hurrah! Victory it is!

Some Bloggers and a group of friends went on a hike last Sunday. At first, we decided to go to RCPI Tower via long route but when we passed beyond the Seven Towers, we finally settled to experience the breath-taking views of the City and the Mountain as we stepped at the Peak of Bocaue! Yes, two side views in one Peak (Actually a panoramic view of Cebu)!

It took us almost four hours to reach the Seven Towers located in the mountainous area of Barangay Babag, Cebu City. That climb was not easy as there are many muddy and slippery paths we conquered. Not to mention the heavy rain that we enjoyed during our way back to the City. We appreciate the patience and effort that "Tibu Padidit" have given to us. So basically, there are at least two choices in going to Bocaue Peak but we chose the trail from Napo to Bocaue then Bonbon as we went back to the City in the afternoon.

Hello Second Tower!!!

No wonder, it is a training area of some of the mountain climbers. A number of obstacles welcomed us on our way to the top. There are thick shrub leaves and big lush of grasses, short hair-raising steeps, slippery downward slopes - to name a few ingredients of our adventure going to the top!
