Friday the 13th was not a bad luck to Cebu Bloggers as we experienced District 50's international cuisine and fine dining. With Italian, American, Greek and Mediterranean or Internationally inspired dishes, District 50 definitely satisfies your cravings, especially on their desserts and main courses. As personally shared by Jenilee Jao, the restaurant's General Manager, District 50 got its name as a dining area specially created for people in 1950's and up.

So much for the talking, here comes the eating! Since the time that baby back ribs got its popularity and would really fill my stomach everytime I ambushed them, I first tried District 50's Barbaric Ribs and yes, it was a Barbaric Eating and I mean not the Barbaric way of eating but the barbaric taste of its well cooked ribs and a completely sweet enough sauce.

Next on my plate was their modern version of Bicol Express, and they name it Spicy Belly and really, it was spicily served.

And to complete my cravings, I then tasted their Entry of the month for April, its name is Beef "Ronster" Massaman. A tender, sweet and yummy beef served in a Massaman way of cooking like a curry, which is basically a southern Thai dish that is Muslim in origin.

Here are some "worth-an-eat" dishes, and I strongly recommend these foods.

    Chicken Parmesan

Cream Dory With Presto and Peas

    Smoked Paprika Beef

    Tangy Chicken

    Tuna Pasta

Chocolate Cookies with marshmallow and a taste of ice cream

Did i mention that District 50 offers unique specialty drinks and desserts? Yes, they did and my best bet is Root Beer Float! And their Iced Tea and Juices come in unlimited servings, isn't it great?

    Root Beer Float, refreshing!

District 50 had their soft opening last December 15 and did their grand opening on January 6. The international restaurant is located at J Centre Mall, Corner Bakilid Street, AS Fortuna, Mandaue City. They are open everyday from 10 am to 11 pm and during weekends, they can accomodate customers up until 2 am.
