It was an early call time of 3 AM when sixteen CBS Bloggers gathered and waited for our ride to the beautiful island of Logon. We knew we would be away from our Home for two days and we thanked this affordable Inn that welcomed and catered us and became our home for the weekend. Situated in the Southern part of the island, Malapascua Budget Inn (MBI) is an affordable and wise choice to stay in one of Cebu's best northern islands. This affordable hostel is just 4-5 minutes walk to the Bounty Beach, center of Resorts and Beaches in Malapascua Island and most especially near the Public Market.

Our weekend in Malapascua Island started with a homy breakfast prepared by the Hostel Owner himself. It was not that grand but good enough to be welcomed and felt home away from home.The amazing Malapascua Escapades with Cebu Bloggers commenced with the Island's familiarization and a mini-Islet Hopping. If you were there lately, you noticed that Yolanda's evidences of distruction are still there. But personally, Nature's treasures are still there. White sands stretching every seashores of the island. Hospitality of the Locals that warmth every Tourists and Visitors in the island. Various Resorts that offer different water sports and activities. I say, Malapascua Tourism is coming back to normal.
And back to our very loved Malapascua Budget Inn, I personally recommend this Hostel to Tourists who are in tight budget. Currently holding the number one spot in TripAdviser as the best Hostel in the island, Malapascua Budget Inn is indeed the best shot! The Hostel offers free kitchen amenities for roomers who love to cook. And one of the best thing is MBI has a strong wifi connection which does not disconnect you from your Social Media Life instead extending your island experiences online. In addition to their list of Services, MBI offers recreational activities such as Movie Nights, Videoke Sessions, Chill-Out bar and Board Games like Chess and Scrabble. For our safety, CCTV is all around the premises - I personally witnessed the CCTV Monitoring. (wink) And speaking of activities, MBI can offer the best Malapascua Sunset Cruise with their partner, Hippocampus Beach Resort. We ended the night with a Boddle Fight Dinner and some chit-chat with friends - a very chill night!
Malapascua Sunset Cruise
Tourists will be picked up directly at the Beach and slowly cruise around the entire island until everybody finds that secluded cove on the NorthWest side fo the island. We will be tucked in there, music is up , get those finger snacks and of course, "Party! Party!" while waiting for the Sunset to show! This amazing opportunity is available every Saturday 3:30 PM but make sure to sign-up at least 24 hrs at Hippocampus Beach Resort. This activity includes 6 Drinks (Beer or RumCoke), Snacks and fresh Fruits. During the cruise, you can dance, swim and cliff jump in the nearby islets.
This Cruise is good for 3 Hrs for only PHP 1000.00. For Barkada and Friends, Group Rates with discounts are also offered.
