Cebu Bloggers' Social Responsibility In the past  3 Years and Beyond

Since the launching of Bloggers' Social Responsibility (BSR) last May 2010, Cebu Bloggers Society Inc. (CBSi) has been organizing and supporting different activities for the community and Society. This has been the outlet of Cebu Bloggers in giving back to the Community and to the People who need help and support.  Dubbed as "The most organized Blogging Organization in the Philippines", Cebu Bloggers Society Inc.  has been consistent in one of it's Six Missions - "Actively participate in activities for community development"

April 24 - 25, 2010 : "Getting To Know The Computer", CBSi Computer Literacy Program

CBSi member Melith discussed her lesson to the High School students

    At least 15 CBSi members volunteered to make lesson plans and report presentations for a Computer Literacy program to more or less 20 High School students of  Lut-od High School, Pinamungajan Cebu. This outreach activity was a partnered project of Cebu Bloggers Society and Tsinelas Association, headed by Lorenzo Ninal.

December 19, 2010 : CBSi Christmas Caroling and Gift Giving Outreach

At least 50 affected Families at Duljo Fatima
    Members of CBSi extended their Christmas celebration with at least 50 (out of 213) families who were victims of fire at Duljo-Fatima, Cebu City by giving some Christmas Gifts and serenading them by Cebu's pride, Bethany band in leadership of Luis Quibranza III.

December 18,2011 : Cebu Bloggers visit to "Missionaries of the Poor"

    In partnership with Niños Foundation, CBSi visited Missionaries of the Poor at Sawang Calero, Pasil. The team brought  food, toys and books for the children, as well as other pressing needs of the facility, including but not limited to medicines, diapers for both adults and kids, bar soaps, detergents for laundry, and canned goods.

August 8, 2012 : CBSi's Bloggers Social Responsibility, #visayashelpsPH Campaign Drive

    Cebu Bloggers Society (CBSI) was mobilizing the #visayashelpsPH campaign to those affected families of destructive Manila Flood last August 2012

February 25, 2013 : A Love Mission of the Missionaries of the Poor

    Bloggers of Cebu Bloggers Society, Inc. and rent managers of Rent.ph offered  thanksgiving through charitable work at Missionaries of the Poor.

November 2013 :  Social Media Help to Earthquake and Yolanda's Victims

    Cebu Bloggers in their own way helped the Victims by donating money or goods to private institutions. In line with this, articles were posted to help Victims find their love ones or survivors via Google service.

December 15, 2013 : Street Children Feeding by Cebu Bloggers

    Best Cebu Blogs Awards, the only Awarding Body founded and  designed by a Blogger (Mark Monta) for the Bloggers, with the help of Jollibee Philippines had helped Street Children experienced a Happy Meal on a Sunny afternoon. Mark Monta and Chanel Imperial of BCBA visited Jollibee Mandaue Centro and organized a mini gathering of Street Children around the branch's premises. That time, these homeless children were sleeping and begging for money to passers-by while some of them were selling candles infront of St. Joseph Church.

The team was planning to do a second feeding this December before the year ends.
