Excited! That was the real feeling everybody went through when the first day of the much anticipated Cebu Food Crawl came. Excited for the new offerings of Cebu's Best Restaurants and Food Establishments and very excited to see new and old Blogger Friends who participated the 4-Day event. In fact, a total of 25 Bloggers from Cebu, Cagayan De Oro, Davao, Bohol and Manila celebrated Cebu as the new Food Destination in the Country.

MACTAN ALFRESCO and THE LECHON PIT

Of course, as always Tourists and even Locals prefer to suggest Lechon as the best food to try when you visit the beautiful island of Cebu. Luckily, Cebu Food Crawlers visited the newly launched Mactan AlFresco by The Mactan Newtown. Situated in Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City, The Mactan Al Fresco is the center of celebrated Filipino or Cebuano Dishes. There are Lechon Restaurants available in Mactan Alfresco such as Ayer's Lechon which is operating in the Lechon Pit, Cebu's Original Lechon Belly and Ana's Lechon. If you're into Mexican Dishes, you can visit Mexi Mama there. If you wish to enjoy Cispy Tuna Buntot or Sizzling Tuna Sisig, now you need to go to Orange Karenderia. Oh! Are you craving for Bucket of Shrimps or any seafood? Go and enjoy them at Choobi-Choobi! Or lusting with some seafoods? You can fulfill your thirst and hunger at Oyster Bay Express! Or  at satisfy your Pochero cravings at Muvanz Pocherohan and Seafood. Generally, Mactan Alfresco is indeed the center of everything!





 

SIESTA AT IBIZA

After that fulfilling Lechon fiesta, we headed to Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu's Ibiza Beach Club for an afternoon siesta. Known for its spectacular ocean views and architectural design, Ibiza Beach Club offers more than a dining experience - it's a lifestyle dining! Cebu Food Crawlers were amazed on the sea as it meets the sky while enjoying their drinks and finger foods offered by Ibiza. At night, Ibiza is very alive as it offers nightly live entertainment and other shows.

SIZZLING NIGHT AT EL VIENTO

We ended the first day with some sizzling surprises from our friends at Marco Polo Plaza Cebu! Favorites from El Viento Restaurant such as Sizzling Sisig, Sizzling Squid, Sizzling Gambas and Sizzling Beef Tips were prepared for Cebu Food Crawlers. It was indeed a memorable dinner as everybody were enjoying the menu at the pool bar with some music and chit chat.Sizzling Nights are available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
