Tokyo Day : Metropolitan Government Building, Shinjuku Gyoen Garden, Gundam in Odaiba

by - 4:25 AM

[October 20, 2019] This date means a whole day roaming around the beautiful Tokyo! Our destinations were the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, and around Odaiba!!! Before anything else, thanks Cebu Pacific Air and Klook PH for everything!  Here are some things to do in Tokyo!

It was the day before our last day! And since we planned to spend our last day doing personal errands and buying pasalubongs, we made out of our time on the 20th of 2019. So, here are our last roam around Tokyo.

TOKYO METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT BUILDING

There are different ways to view the beautiful skyline and skyscrapers of Tokyo. You can buy tickets from Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Skytree, Ikebukuro Sunshine, Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, SHIBUYA SKY at SHIBUYA SCRAMBLE SQUARE. But you can actually view Tokyo city for free in Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. But here's a catch, since it is free many tourists and even locals are visiting this place so you need to come as early as 7 AM to be first at the queue.

When we came here, there were less than 200 people waiting in line so we were very lucky!

SHINJUKU GYOEN NATIONAL GARDEN

After we visited the Tokyo Government Tower, we then walked to one of Tokyo's largest parks, Shinjuku Gyoen Park. Since I visited the New York Central Park last July 2018, I can definitely compare this park with Central Park.

There are different Tourist spots inside the Park. We didn't even finish roaming all areas since we got tired. The park is home to a number of Cherry Blossoms which is a great place to visit during Sakura season. In addition, the park is also a great place to visit during Autumn most especially during full foliage.

Inside the park is a vast Greenhouse with many tropical and subtropical flowers, herbs, and other plants.
