Cebu is famous on it's culture, treasures, people's hospitality and most of all, the white sand of it's beaches. But lately, a Social Media post captured everybody's attention when a boy threw some trashes to the sea of Basdaku Beach Resort, a famous public beach in Moalboal, southern part of Cebu. Alex Banaag and his team (friends) came to Moalboal for a get together but that awesome weekend was polluted. Based on the his Facebook post, the boy stopped throwing his second basket full of garbages ( biodegradable and plastics ) when a lady approached him but what surprised them was when the Kid's "boss" took over and dumped those garbages to the sea.

Look at this kid with a basket of stuff, heading to the sea. What are inside that basket?

And there! Trashes in the sea!! What a shame!!!

Taking a look at what he had done. Maybe he has conscience and will pick them back to his basket?

Oh, he just left them! What a shame!!!

" Bas Dako Garbage Disposal.. What was supposedly a perfect weekend getaway was spoiled by this scenario. We were swimming near the shore when this kid threw garbage a few feet from where we were. After seeing the wastes dumped into the beach line, we immediately ran away to avoid getting "contaminated".
A lady seated a few meters from us approached the boy when he was about to throw a 2nd basket full of trash and whatever she said to him prompted him to stop. He went back and told his boss about it and his boss surprisingly took over and dumped 2 more. The kid followed and dumped even more!!!
Calling all government officials... Please put a stop to this. Jail the culprits!"

Now, do we need to wait for our Seas and Beaches go dirty and ugly? June 7, 2014 - Cebu Bloggers gathered at the newly rebranded JPark Island Resort and Waterpark Cebu to experience greater services they offered after the said change. Formerly known as IMPERIAL Palace Waterpark Resort and Spa, JPark Island Resort is set to expand and open new projects in other parts of the country. It's said to have new Waterpark or another property in Luzon, might be in Laguna or Batangas but the big announcement will soon be revealed on early July. This rebranding was officially embraced last June 1, 2014.

In addition, better services are the Company focus of this recent change which include Technology upgrade and environment friendliness. Latest Technology innovation in the company includes software and hardware installations for Check-in process, booking and VIP counter processes and of course, powering up their internet connections to all the customers.

The Resort says "Sea Turtle" but we only saw Sea and no Turtles were spotted! But to support the recovery of those affected Resorts in the Northern part of Cebu, I decided to bring my family and relatives for our Summer Outing at the Northeastern area in the "not-so-known" Sea Turtle Lagoon Resort. Located at Villanueva, Camoboan,Tabogon,Bogo. Sea Turtle Lagoon Resort was also damaged during that Haiyan (known as Typhoon Yolanda) devastation in the Visayas Region. The Resort is not for High Class but I recommend it to the people who love to chill in front of Cebu's Blue Seawater in an inexpensive way. And you can sing your heart out as Karaoke is available beside those cheap Cottages. Did I say they don't have Corkage fee? Yes, you can bring any foods and drinks - even Liquors and Beers!!

How to Get there?

1. From the North Bus Terminal, you can take the Bogo-Borbon Ride but make sure to drop at Tabogon
2. Then you can ride a Habal-Habal going to the Resort.
