On January 21, Cebu is in a colorful mood as we celebrate the grandest fete in the country, Sinulog Festival! Devotees from different Philippine regions and different countries are coming to the beautiful island of Cebu to visit and pay respect to our dear Sto. Nino De Cebu. And everyone will shout, "Pit Senyor!"
ABOUT SINULOG
During this festive week, different kinds of traditions and activities are being observed. Most Tourists reserve seats at the Grand Parade on the third Sunday of January. Some Locals chose to attend the Fluvial Parade which is happening on a Saturday. This Fluvial Procession is a very important tradition of Cebuanos as our dear Sto. Nino will be carried via Pumpboats decorated with flowers from Mandaue City to Cebu City. On the same day, Devotees will solemnly celebrate a long hour of the procession in the afternoon in the main street of Cebu City.
